4. SHADE- add black or a darker version of the color
5. TONAL VARIATION- variation in single color from dark to light or light to dark
6. TINT- mixture of color for increase lightness (white)
7. ACHROMATICS- without color or black and white
For me fundamentals of visual language -2 was very interesting project but this time it was a bit challenging too me as well as i learn a lot as well as like working with water color , dry pastel and oil pastel
The flower which i selected for the project was CHAMPA. this was so difficult for me to create white organic form

Dry pastel, Oil pastels and Water color played important role in my journey of this project

A pastel consists of pure powdered pigment and binder in a stick. that can used dry as well as wet.

Water color applied is activated with water . they came in tubes and cakes

MY PREFERED MEDIUM
I loved working with water color because it is very comfortable to use.
it wasn't easy to handle watercolors in the beginning but slowly and gradually i was able to handle them easily and i see improvement in my work .
The comparison between the two mediums needed to be supported by visuals.
Without visual reference you are taking the risk of the reader making her/his own meaning of your written text. It can lead to communication gap.
