EXPERIMENT – 1: Cutting of PVC pipe
Cutting of PVC pipe was not successful for me in the beginning as I could not cut it due to thickness. It was very difficult for me to cut this thick pipe. But then I heat this in low flam and i cut it easily. and remove its blackness with the help of sand paper and eraser
EXPERIMENT – 2: Cutting of PVC pipe
This was an interesting and as well as hard experiment, cutting the PVC pipe from top center and make it like flower Patel this was a bit difficult to cut it without heat (but i didn't remove the blackness which comes while heating it)
EXPERIMENT – 3 Burning Nylon rope
First i try to burn it on low flame but it didn't burn on low flame
EXPERIMENT – 4: Burning and sticking Nylon rope
Burning and pasting is very interesting to do (While I was working with nylon rope and I remembered that I used to made this in my school days for decoration.)
EXPERIMENT – 5: Cutting, Burning and Pasting the nylon rope
This was quite interesting. For this experiment first I cut the rope in small pieces and burn it from the and (quickly)stick it together.
EXPERIMENT – 6: Burning OHP sheet
EXPERIMENT – 7: stick OHP
In this I tried to stick it without any tool only what I did is I burn only one corner and stick to another and I realized that OHP sheet burn very quickly but its difficult to stick it with heat as you can see in the above image last 4 of them are not much good and another corner was burn because of the heat and in the first 3 I manage it very nicely.(but it was very difficult)
EXPERIMENT – 8: Plastic mesh
I join it with burning method
EXPERIMENT – 9: Polyester felt
EXPERIMENT – 10: polyester felt
Easy and interesting to burn it from edges. This felt catches heat very quickly even in low flow.
EXPERIMENT – 11: Try to control the heat on polyester felt
This was to difficult to control the heat to check the texture of the felt
EXPERIMENT – 12: Study the foam of felt
For this experiment I used comb I rub it for 5 to 6 times and I see that a kind of silky and soft thread thing come out.
EXPERIMENT – 13: Plastic water hose
First I cut the plastic water hose with scissor and burn it and stick it without tool.
EXPERIMENT – 14: Plastic water hose
EXPERIMENT – 15:Plastic water hose
In this experiment I use cutter and made quills
EXPERIMENT – 16: sun board
Burning experiment is always interesting but harmful as well, I burnt the sunboard with the help of a candle and saw how it turned black
EXPERIMENT – 17: thermocol
EXPERIMENT – 18: burn thermacol on high flame
EXPERIMENT – 19 : Making hard the nylon rope and attach with water hose
For me this is quit difficult to stick it with water hose it took a lot of time so stick (I stick with fevi bond and elfy)
EXPERIMENT – 20 : Bubble rapp (BURNING)in low flame

EXPERIMENT – 6
Interesting and easy to do, cut it scratches the sheet
EXPERIMENT – 7
EXPERIMENT – 8 Cutting of aluminum pipe!
I tried cutting aluminum pipe but I couldn’t cut it because it was too thick but then I heat it and cut it and after making this I use sandpaper

DAY –3
NATURAL
MATERIAL I USED
1. Jute Rope
2. Sarkanda
3. Bamboo
4. Coir
5. Cotton Cord
6. Corrugated Sheet
TOOLS
1. Elfie
2. Fevibond
3. scissors
4. candle
5. cutter
6. Candle
EXPERIMENT – 1: (Burning bamboo stick)
First I break this stick with hammer and cut it in 5 to 6 pieces This stick was to difficult to cut or break. Then I burn it on high flame what I realized after doing this experiment was it took a time to burnt because of its thickness
EXPERIMENT – 2 : Jute rope
This was a new and surprising experiment for me. Using Elfie with jute releases very harmful fumes so, I had to stay away from it and to pour Elfie.
EXPERIMENT – 3: Jute rope
In this experiment I open the jute rope very deeply even I see that it have 4 layers that’s why it is hard
EXPERIMENT – 4 Jute fabric
I took a piece of jute fabric that I had cut out from a 24/7 bag. I then proceeded to pull out the individual fibres to create a textural variation.
EXPERIMENT – 5 Jute fabric
Cutting a piece of jute fabric and pile out all the layers of it
EXPERIMENT – 6 Jute rope
Using Elfie is quite risky I ever use it very carefully of this first made this shape and then put Elfie on it
EXPERIMENT – 7 : Jute rope
I take the 2 second layer of the jute rope and stick it to the sun board
EXPERIMENT – 8 : Breading with jute rope
Breading of thread was easy and further weaving was even easier and smooth due to its flexibility.
EXPERIMENT – 9 cotton cord
This experiment was quite tricky I wanted to create a circular structure by using favicol and cotton cord. I decided to start by using a balloon and cover it with Vaseline then I mix the favicol with water and put that on jute rope and pate it on balloon and leave it for 4 to 5 hours and the end result was interesting .
EXPERIMENT – 10 Burn sarkanda stick
I burned the sarkanda. It caught on fire rapidly and burned aggressively. After the fire was extinguished I was left with a black stick made with ash,
EXPERIMENT – 11 Burning cotton
Burn cotton I burn the cotton I realized that it catches the heat very quickly and it convert into black ash
EXPERIMENT – 12:
Burning banded Burning material is interesting but as well as difficult with some material like this banded this catch the fire very fast and convert into ash.
EXPERIMENT – 13 sarkanda stick
This was waste sarkanda stick for me because this was broken then I thought I can make any shape with this. To stick this I used elfy
EXPERIMENT – 14
I slit the sarkanda into 4 slits. I then weaved a jute rope through it.
EXPERIMENT – 15 : Jute rope
EXPERIMENT – 16 match stick
I make the different shapes with match stick and sticked it together
EXPERIMENT – 17 Elfie with leaf
I dipped the leaf in elfy and paste it with another and I observed that leafs become hard and it change its colour a bit from the corners
EXPERIMENT – 18
Basically This Idea came to my mind because of my mother because she was thronging these. then I thought I should make something with these then I started sticking it to balloons but that was a failed idea then with these broken peals of peanut I made a umbrella
EXPERIMENT – 19 cotton cord
EXPERIMENT – 20 Burning jute fabric

Reflection
This week was about basic explorations of different types of materials like synthetic, aluminum, natural and composite materials. Exploring different opportunities of using materials from basic to complex ones. basically for me this week was all about achievement and failures. but i really learn a lot from failures and find solution and as well as got to know about where to use fevibond, fevi quick, fevicol like few of the material didn't stick with fevibond and fevicol but that only stick with the help of fevi quick or elfy and some time i realized that not only adhesive stick something but the burning also help to stick something like nylon rope, plastic mosquito mesh. while using material we really need to focus that how and where to use and how much to use like while working with resin i realized that quantity really maters. overall i got a great experince in this week and i'll surely apply it in my future.
HAPPY WORKING!!!!!!!!
