This was an amazing and light project but deep observations . thorough studding cotton i realized that Cotton has a number of distinguishing characteristics that make it such a popular fiber in the textile industry. Softness. The cotton plant is soft and fluffy and results in a fabric often retains that soft feel.
On the very first day, while touching the material starting from one end to the other I got very attached to the fabric and I didn't want it to crease or get dirty since it was so soft and was so beautiful in its appearance. then while create textures I realized That the textures that i created , the tearing in cloths , crushing and a realistic creating crack in the cloth are not singular, linear or orderly; instead they overlap, each one impacting and producing another. There is no linear kind of repetition of lines patterns. studding this was my such a wonderful experience for me.
I am grateful that we were able to gain knowledge about fabric from such a renowned designer Mr. Gunjan Arora who very patiently gave us knowledge about various sorts of material and techniques used all around the world. The most incredible part of this project was the presentation, it was so informative and very well explained.
