THINK LAB- ILLUSTRATED GLOSSARY
1. Perception- View of something.

2. Scale- The scale of an object is something which has the ability to change the meaning of an object completely, the size of the object.

3. Stakeholder- is a person or organization that has interest in a company and can affect or be affected by the business of the company.

4. Mapping- It is ideating about something and then getting ideas.

5.· Typography- is the art and technique of arranging type (letters and text) in a way that is legible, readable and appealing when displayed.

6. Expressive typography- is an art to make text highly visual. Letters are not just carriers of meaning, but now become real physical shapes.

7. Assumption- The perception that we have in our mind with respect to anything.
8. New possibilities- These are the chances that each ordinary thing has to develop itself into a new and innovative thing.

9 .Hybrid- Different specie of anything
10. Blueprint- A mind map sort of a thing which helps one to ideate
11. Attribute- A quality or feature regarded as a characteristic or inherent part of something.

13. Cross Breeding- fixing two different thing to get different outcomes

14. Idea Box-its a way of automatically combining the parameters of a challenge into new ideas

15. chain of supply - The network that connects the manufacturer and the consumer
16. Scamper- A technique which helps a designer to think creatively by breaking the ordinary objects by little variations to form new innovative objects.


17. Affirmation- Support and encouragement to something.
18. 6 Thinking hats - a tool with a particular meaning like each hat with different color depict some possible aspects ..

19. combine - addition of one or two things
20.Put to another use - used for other purpose to solve problem
21. eliminate - basically its a removal of one or two features to create something else
22. white hat - Facts and statistics
23. black hat -All the cons or negative aspects
24. red hat - The feelings, intuitions and emotions involved
25, yellow hat - The pros and Positive aspects
26. green hat -New and creative ideas to solve the cons or make it better
27. blue hat - The group working/ process involved
28. REVERSE - Changing the direction/flow/pattern of working 29. adopt - changing the purpose or the situation
30. Descriptive attribute- a visual thing in any product
31.Functional attribute - properties or functioning of the product
32.Emotional attribute - sense of any product

1.Etymology- when you break up the words in order to understand there original and thus get a better understanding of there meaning
2.Context- the background information or situation in which something happens
3.Infographics - visual representation of data
4.Autodidactic - self taught/ self working
5.Interferences- conclusion reached through research and evidence
6.Ergonomics - science concerned with ensuring efficient interaction between the user and the object.
7.Generalisation- the act of categorizing things based on broad evidences
8.Utility- the unconventional uses of an object
9.Usability- the use of an object for its intended purpose
10. Power grip- grasping with palm
11. Pricing- factors the influence the cost of a product
12. Comfort- the state of being relaxed or free from pain
13. Affordances- properties of object which shows users the action they can take
14. Function- the purpose
15. Convenience- ease in use
16. Milieu- the environment in which something occurs
17. Timeline : series or list of events take place in over a period of time
18. Observational drawing : Drawing something by observing the real thing in front of us
19. Attribute : features/ a quality of something
20. User object association : the interaction between user and his/her object
21. Factor : any element that contribute to a particular decision or situation/ anything which influences the final decision
22. Generalization: to simplify or to generalize something
